Well January did not end off being a month to remember. Really looking forward to an awesome start to the new year. I started it with having a five day vacation from work. I was using the time to catch up on Skyrim and get away from work altogether.
So I come back from work on January 5. For the first time in a while is actually excited to be back working. Started off well, until I went to lunch. I not getting it really into detail about it. Pretty much I aid got fired the next day. If you want to know what happens his link to the blog.
For about a week and a half I was in utter shock and completely numb. I just had no strength at all to look for another job. I ended up sleeping most of the time. Thankfully, I have some really great friends an awesome wife that help me through the depression of losing a job the way I did. I don't know what I would've done without them, I deftly want to thank the people that have been helpful. Thank you very very much, I very much appreciate it.
Well when I finally did get strength find a job again I decided enough was enough I just could not do retail more. So I decided to go look into a career that I have been wanting to do my whole life and that was be working in a restaurant as a cook. So I applied to Dave and Busters as a line cook. I believe I applied on January 10.I went in on January 12 and I spoke with Chris the kitchen manager. I believe it went pretty well. he said he would contact me on January 17 and tell me if I had gotten the job. Well, the 17th came and went and no call for them. I called the next two days but he was not there. So I am going in there on the 19 and spoke with him again. He offered me the job as a line cook. It really didn't hit me yet that I had gone the job seeing as I was so numb the whole last two weeks. But I was just relieved to finally have a job I guess. So I ended up going out on that Friday with Tom, Jess, and Melissa Wright. We ended up going to blue 22 for few drinks. Then next day I went out with John, Dwayne, my wife Melissa,and Ian to Dave and Buster's. Is a good time.
So I had my orientation on the 23rd. But due to the fact I was not in the system yet I did not officially start until Monday, January 30. All in all I think I'm really going to like this job. I'm just getting glad I don't have to deal with the general public again.
So here's hoping that February will be 100 times better. I also ended up doing a mood tracker thing for the month January. Of the 31 days in January, 14 days I was happy, five days okay,and 12 days I was unhappy,
I will be doing this for every month I will also put a video up of the most played song of that month. So here it is
