"do you love your guns?" (yeah) "god?" (yeah) "the government?" (fuck yeah)

The good old Gun. Why do we love them so much and does the average American really need one?  And should we blame the gun or person for a murder and does violent video games cause us to go out and kill? I will go into all of this and give my opinion on the matter.

Now I believe that if you are in the armed forces or a police officer then yes you should have a gun. Or if you hunt for sport or fun (which I believe is not necessary but to each their own) ok. But the average American a handgun yes, and other sort of arms no. BUT, BUT THE SECOND AMENDMENT SAYS THAT ITS OK FOR ME THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS!!!! Ok then lets look at the Second Amendment.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Ok it does say that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. But see that first part.  A well regulated militia. Back then we did not have the military that we have now. The well-regulated militia referred to in the Second Amendment was, in fact, the 18th-century equivalent to the U.S. Armed Forces. So with that it does NOT really give the average American the right to bear arms. So that's out the window.

So again WHY does the average American need again? WELL I NEED ONE TO PROTECT MY FAMILY AND HOME. This one is a tough one for me. As long as its one and only one handgun then yes. You do not need shotguns, assault rifles and the likes. There is no need. Most sane people will choose there life over some stupid item.

Now with the whole thing about gun violence. We have the most Homicide Rate, We are a one of the top developed countries in the world. We are a super power but we act like we are a third world country. We are better then this to go around killing each other of stupid shit.

I have also heard people blame gun violence on Video games (yet this same group put this out:)

Yea its not true. There are alot of people that play video games that are not going to go out and kill people. I really hate when they say that.

DON'T BLAME THE GUN, BLAME THE PERSON!!! Yes and no. Yea people with mental issues should not have access to guns but again they do. I really believe that we should have better mental health care in this country. It is horrible. If it was better alot of people would not go out in kill.


I think that we should ban any thing that is not a hand gun or a hunting rifle. Again why does a person need anything else. And it should only be one each of those guns for each person. There is no need for a person to have like 5 guns. Not necessary. I also think it should be harder to get a gun. You should have a psych test done on you. And those that have guns should keep them locked up so kids and teenagers don't get into them and they should teach their kids gun safety.  Guns are not toys and they should not be treated like one.
