The thoughts of an Insane Darth Varg: My top 10 Favorite Florida Panthers games of 2011-12

Here are my top 10 fav. Panthers games of 2011-12. They are in order by the date they were played.

1. October 8, 2011 Florida Panthers 2 New York Islanders 0
This was the first game of the year and of the new team playing as a team. The Panthers add 15 new face to the team during the off-season.

2. October 8, 2011 Florida Panthers 7 Tampa Bay Lightning 4
In this game the Panthers tied a team record by scoring 5 Power Play goals.

3. October 29th, 2011 Florida Panthers 3 Buffalo Sabres 2
The Panthers were down 2-1 with 4 minutes to play and came back with 2 goals in a 2 minute 15 second span to win the game.

4. November 15, 2011 Florida Panthers 6 Dallas Stars 0
In this game the Panthers absolutely dominated the Stars. It was a really fun game to watch and at the end you hear them say that a few rats have made the ice. My buddy Murph was at the game and throw a few on the ice.

5. November 21, 2011 Florida Panthers 4 New Jersey Devils 3
The Panthers fell behind 3-0 after the first 9 minutes of the game. It really didn't look good for them. But they came back and won it 4-3. I was a very exciting game and is my top 3 fav. games of the year.

6. December 8, 2011 Florida Panthers 2 Boston Bruins 0
Florida played a great game in this one and earned a hard fought win against a team that was very hot at that time of the season. I saw this game at Dave and Busters. It was the first time I had gone there since they opened. I went with a few friends from Target to watch the game.

7. January 21, 2012 Florida Panthers 4 Winnipeg 3 SO
This game went to 7 shootout rounds before the Panthers were able to put it away and win it. I was keeping up with this game at Dave and Busters. I went there with Melissa and a few good friends fromn Target that I was still friends with to celebrate my new job at Dave and Busters.

8. March 15, 2012 Florida Panthers 6 Boston Bruins 2
The Panthers crushed the little cubbies in this one.

9. March 17, 2012 Florida Panthers 3 Buffalo 2 SO
For the first time since 2008 that the Panthers had won more then 3 games in a row and they did it in the shootout which they had problems winning all year.

10. April 7, 2012 Florida Panthers 4 Carolina 1
For the first time in Florida Panthers history they won their division which won them a date with the New Jersey Devils in the first round of the playoffs. The same opponent they played when they last made the playoffs back in the 1999-00 season.
